The Rare Breed Experience
Rare Breed Charters offers nearshore and offshore fishing charters for all types of anglers. Captain Daniel Levesque, an experienced fisherman from Ponce Inlet, Florida, knows all the best spots and is eager to provide top-quality service, regardless of your experience level.
Our 31' Cape Horn can be customized based on your trip type, location, and number of anglers. Trips target a wide range of species, including Grouper, Red Snapper, Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Cobia, Wahoo, and King Mackerel.
You can keep all your catches, and children are welcome on board. Captain Daniel supplies all fishing gear, licenses, catch cleaning, and filleting, as well as water. Just bring your favorite food!

24' Pathfinder
Our 24' Pathfinder is purpose-built for nearshore and inshore fishing along Florida's east coast. With a shallow draft and nimble handling, this vessel gets you into the backwaters, flats, and coastal areas where the redfish, snook, trout, and flounder live.
Perfect for smaller groups looking for a more intimate fishing experience closer to shore. Whether you're working the Indian River Lagoon or casting along the jetties at Ponce Inlet, the Pathfinder puts you right where the fish are.
Target Species

Mahi Mahi
Beautiful dolphin fish prized by anglers, known for aerial acrobatics and bright blue-green colors with radiant golden hues.

Wahoo
A prized game fish known for incredible speed and excellent taste. Can grow up to 8 feet and weigh around 180 pounds.

Grouper
Black grouper with a Florida record of 113 lbs, a true trophy catch. Often hooked at depths of 20 to 110 feet.

Red Snapper
Seasonally available and highly sought after. One of the most prized bottom fish in the Atlantic.

Tuna
Blackfin and yellowfin tuna are powerful fighters found in our offshore waters. Both species deliver an incredible fight and are prized for their speed and table quality.

Amberjack
Can exceed 100 pounds with dark stripes from nose to dorsal fins. Always take large live bait and fight hard.

King Mackerel
Fast, aggressive predators that provide explosive strikes and exciting runs on both trolling and live bait.

Cobia
Powerful fish known for their strength and excellent table fare. Found nearshore and offshore year-round.

Jack Crevalle
Beastly and known for a brutal fight. Found inshore and offshore, with larger adults primarily in deeper waters. A powerful predator.

Barracuda
Large, ferocious fish with unparalleled tenacity. Known for explosive leaps when hooked and their signature pointed teeth.

African Pompano
A tropical marine fish in the jack family found in water less than 300 ft deep. Silvery-metallic blue to blue-green coloring.

Sharks
Multiple species found in our waters year-round. Always a thrilling catch that tests your strength and your gear.

Snook
A prized inshore game fish known for their powerful strikes and acrobatic fights. Found around mangroves, docks, and inlets along the coast.

Redfish
One of the most popular inshore species in Florida. Recognized by the distinctive spot on their tail and known for strong, bulldogging runs.

Sheepshead
Easily identified by their black and white stripes and human-like teeth. Excellent table fare found around pilings, jetties, and structure.

Flounder
A flatfish that blends into the bottom and ambushes prey. Prized for their delicate, mild flavor and found in sandy areas near inlets.
